X Games is coming to Ruka in the spring of 2027!
As one of the world’s most renowned action sports events, X Games brings three days of elite-level sport, high-octane action, and unforgettable experiences to Ruka. The biggest stars in winter sports will gather at Ruka for a spectacular international event featuring breathtaking performances.
Meanwhile, X FEST—held as part of the event weekend—brings together music, entertainment, and top-tier artists, taking the atmosphere to a whole new level. You won’t want to miss this weekend!

Finland’s most loved ski resort
Located near the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland, Ruka is a destination shaped by snow, nature and easy Nordic village life. Enjoy the snow and the show
Ruka makes the X Games experience effortless, with everything from the slopes to the afterparty close at hand. Event venues spread across the fell, but nothing is far: walk between them, take the gondola, ski down, or hop on the ski bus. Ruka Village sits right at the centre of it all — accommodation, restaurants, the festival area and everyday services are all within a few minutes of the action.
And there’s plenty to do beyond the competition: ride the world’s northernmost alpine coaster, explore the Arctic landscapes on an electric snowmobile or unwind in a summit sauna with breathtaking views — and, with a little luck, catch the Northern Lights.
